Your life was never meant to be ordinary, nor was it meant to be mundane. Your life was always created to be a miraculous demonstration of the power of God manifesting itself in mere mortality. This is your life! And because of Him and all that He has imparted, you are so much more than remarkable! You are the recipient of all of the benefits of this promise of a continual abundant life.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10).
In this familiar and comforting verse, Jesus declares emphatically that the central purpose for His time on earth can be summed up in one word: life! Jesus came to deliver heaven's idea of living to humanity in all generations to come. He did not guarantee perfect circumstances, but He promised more life than is comprehendible in the natural realm of understanding.
God's abundant life for you was set in motion and ultimately guaranteed by the death of Jesus Christ. This too-good-to-be-true life actually began the miraculous and eternal instant that you accepted Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior.

But rest assured, there is a thief whose chief purpose is to steal your ability and your desire to tap into the abundant life God provided for you. His malicious intent is to kill your hope of an abundant life and then to destroy it at its very core. This is the only thing this archenemy of God knows how to do, and it is the one pervasive thought on his ugly, deceitful brain. Not only does the enemy come to steal your abundant life, but he is also intent on convincing you to willingly sacrifice it into his greedy little hands.
That is why it is vital that you determine not to even listen to his senseless chatter but to build a life firmly on the foundation of the truth found in the Word of God. The Bible is a strong and powerful way to place an impenetrable lock on your life so this dirty, rotten criminal is unable to trespass. The Word of God will secure your life and guarantee that this kleptomaniac is no longer able to pick the lock of your heart. You need to so deeply saturate yourself with the Word of God on a daily basis that it becomes a high power security system through which no one is able to invade.
When you determine to read your Bible regardless of your circumstances, you will be the recipient of a peace in your soul that is unable to be denied. When you daily spend time in the Word of God, a purpose will flood your being, and you will be convinced of His great goodness toward you. The sacred invitation offered to you by Jesus to spend your lifetime developing a friendship with Him is truly the most beneficial and powerful invitation you have ever received! You have been given a ticket that ushers you into a front row seat of experiencing His live presence and His daily power. There is nothing mundane or boring about that!
You get to choose whether or not to live a life so abundant that the angels gasp. You choose whether or not to access the life Jesus died for. You choose whether to settle into a merely ordinary existence or to partner with God in a life that declares for the world to hear, "No more ordinary! I will live the life for which I was created!" What life will you choose?
