We can build the world's largest sundae using only the theater of the mind.
Start with your favorite lake. Do you see it?
On the northern most part of the lake open the valve and watch as creamy vanilla ice cream flows into the lake. See every layer of cream fill the lake. Do you see the lake glisten as it reflects sunlight from the ice cream?
On the south side of the lake run to the valve and release a flow of chocolate. Do you smell the rich chocolate as it oozes across the ice cream?
On the east side of the lake, you notice a cannon ready to be fired. Light the fuse. The muffled explosion powers a mixture of nuts across the surface of the lake.
Just now, you can hear the sound of a helicopter overhead. As you look to the sky, you notice the biggest cherry you have ever seen, dangling on a rope below the helicopter. Do you see the cherry, falling toward the lake? It's not a long trip in my mind, as the cherry splats into the choco-nut covered ice cream.
In less than 30 seconds, through the power of the mind, you've built the world's largest sundae.
The theater of the mind is a terrible thing to waste.
