deception (n): act of causing someone to accept as truth or valid what is false or invalid; to dupe, fake out, fool, misguide, misinform, mislead
The New King James Version of the Bible mentions "deception" or "deceive" 31 times. From the enemy being the father of lies (John 8:44) to his attempts to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10) anything good, the Word powerfully teaches us to be aware of the deceptive ways of the enemy.
3 Paths of Marketplace Deceptions
These deceptions come in three ways. First, they come directly from Satan. As marketplace impacters, we can overcome the enemy's direct deceptions "lest Satan should take advantage of us. For we are not ignorant of his devices" (2 Cor. 2:11).
Second, deceptions can come from both non-believers and believers, "For such are false apostles and deceitful workers, disguising themselves into apostles of Christ" (2 Cor. 11:13).
Finally, we can simply deceive ourselves, so "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool that he may be wise" (1 Cor. 3:18).
How to Recognize Marketplace Deceptions
Here is a 30-minute teaching I released to The Kingdom Institute – Pensacola hub that reviews dozens of ways we can easily be deceived in our work lives and how to recognize marketplace deceptions.
The activation activity at the end of the video broke off many attendees' deceptions, roadblocks and attempts to derail destiny and marketplace impact.
I encourage you to listen carefully to this YouTube teaching.
I also ask you to subscribe to our TKI – The Kingdom Institute YouTube channel to receive updates on new teachings.
